Mark 'NICO' Nicholls joined Chelsea at the age of 16 and went on to make 70 appearances in the Premier League, Champions League and domestic cup competitions.

Mark draws on all his experiences of breaking onto the scene at a major club - from signing professional terms, making his debut at 18 and playing along side football legends such as Mark Hughes and Gianluca Vialli.

Following a successful professional career including Chelsea, Grimsby Town, Colchester United, Hamilton and Clydebank, Mark studied for his coaching badge and was also a Manager of an Essex Senior League club.

NICO PLAYER DEVELOPMENT ARE PROUD TO WORK WITH WORKHORSE GENERATION. Through the beauty of football, NICO will be laying on sessions delivering a number of differing support needs and helping to build confidence, communication skills and most importantly friendship in an environment where young people can be heard!

In an ever-changing world where the norm is now to stay inside, where the need to fit in is great, where views and opinions are met with venom and hostility and where every mistake made is posted for all to see, we have created a near-impossible environment for our latest generation to flourish to progress or to understand.

Workhorse Generation and their team of charities want to help open the eyes of the young, to build confidence and knowledge to let them know there are people that want to listen, that it’s not the making of mistakes but how you learn from them that defines us and to educate the generation of today on how to support the generation of tomorrow.

Please stay tuned for more information on our team of charities and Workhorse Generation and what we will be bringing to the table in 2022.

A foundation to be built needing someone to inspire,

a generation in need - a world nothing like years prior,

with guidance required and someone to believe,

together we will take life on - together we achieve.

Thanks for submitting!
